Welcome to K9 Explorers
Leah is a certified dog trainer situated in Tauranga Bay of Plenty. She is trained in the most up to date, scientific positive reinforcement training methods and continues to upskill.
Leah has been involved in dog rescue fostering and volunteering for the last 11 years. Her own dog is 13 year old Khan (far right in picture) who is a large brindle rescue dog. Khan is very unique, he has been DNA tested by Embark and it has revealed that he is made up of 7 different breeds including shar pei, Australian cattle dog, husky, labrador and also 3 different bull breeds.

Karen Pryor Dog Trainer Professional Diploma
School of Canine Science behaviour bible chapter 3 (currently completing)
Certificate in Animal care and veterinarian assistance
Certificate in pet first aid

Leah is such a wonderful person. She just loves dogs and they love her. She walks our elderly dog and he adores her. He has benefited from the training she gives during walks. Pictures and an update from every walk. Really professional, reliable and fabulous value.
My two border collies Layla and Milo totally adore Leah, she walks them weekly and keeps me updated whilst I am at work its lovely to receive photos of their adventure. She's very experienced and has a lovely calm nature
